Quick Tip: Five Ways to Share One Piece of Content

Note: If you want more social media tips, take my Social Media Challenge, it’s totally free.

The number one pain point you come to me with is that there is not enough time in the day to manage all of the content for social media. But I have a secret for you...

THERE IS.

Did you know that most solopreneurs (even when they are NOT content creators for a living) are more efficient and effective than big companies with a team in place for social? Do you want to know why?

All you need is a process and a system for content creation. You have to remember to be efficient and to use each piece of content to its maximum potential. When you extend the reach of a piece of content you are not cheating, you are WORKING SMART.

Part of the system I have been using for over a decade is that of repurposing my content. NEWSFLASH---just because someone sees it on Instagram, does not mean they will see it on LinkedIn, Facebook, or even on Instagram WHEN YOU POST IT AGAIN, or post it in a different way. Your followers don't see everything you post. I'm telling you, they just don't.

This blog post right here? It’s already being used in TEN, yes TEN different ways. Here are five of my favorite:

  • Make a Carousel: Take your series of tips, or break down your story, and set it across a carousel like this one. Encourage people to scroll for more and SAVE. This helps your engagement on the 'gram.

  • Use a Tweet Graphic: Whether you actually tweet it out or use a template on Canva, create a tweet graphic featuring a key idea or quote from the piece of content you're sharing. Use that on your IG feed.

  • Make a Reel: It doesn't have to be fancy. And no, you don't have to dance. Camera to face, share your tips or tell your story. Hit POST. Reels are a priority on the 'gram right now and they also help your content to be seen by those not already following you.

  • Turn it into a IGTV Video: Again, camera to face, tell your story, share your tips---this time, in longer form (over a minute). You can also use this video on Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and Tik Tok. (I just gave you four more social posts just from this ONE.)

  • Pull a Quote: Use Canva to create quote templates with your branding. Pull quotes from your content---they can be yours or someone else's. Use this in your Instagram feed, but ALSO on Facebook, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. When your quotes resonate with people---they share them.

They are to create process and efficiency so that you can focus on your top priority---growing your business and bottom line. Make sure to bookmark this so that you have them for later.
