Dear FoundHer… with Lindsay Meltzer, Founder of Bright Bowls
Dear FoundHer…
Every Founder will face adversity as she builds her business. For Founders who operate brick and mortar businesses the pandemic has been stressful. From the shortage of employees and supply chain delays, my heart goes to the entrepreneurs riding out this storm. It is during these times that the power of community is needed most.
I met this week's guest, Lindsay Meltzer, when she was a customer of mine! Owner of Bright Bowls, a health food retailer in Highland Park, Illinois, Lindsay launched her business at the height of the pandemic. Opening her doors wasn't a smooth process, but she persevered to a grand opening that included a line of customers cheering her on.
I love Lindsay’s positive attitude and her notion that being kind ALWAYS wins. If there is one person I know who lives their brand, it’s Lindsay Meltzer. Walking into Bright Bowls FEELS exactly the way it sounds. As you listen to today’s podcast, I know that this will come across.
In this episode, we talk about the benefits of growing slowly, being vulnerable, and the daily actions you need to take to move your business forward. Lindsay is a true ray of sunshine and one I know you will want to emulate in your own business practices.
As always, more to come,
Lindsay
